Father's Day Weekend

Yes, it's Father's Day weekend. Daddy has to hold both boys at the same time all the time lately. Now that Adam's getting more mobile, he wants to run around and ride bikes with daddy and Jonathan outside. Double the fun and double the hugs and kisses.

Lorisa's dog Chloe stayed the weekend too. Jonathan gets practice of taking a dog out to pee and to feed him ..... maybe someday we will get a dog of our own.
Lorisa had said that she likes when her two older sisters are not around because then she is the oldest child around and loves being in charge of Jonathan and Adam. Grandma and Papa stayed the weekend as well. My sister and her family; my brother and his family, Grandmad and Papa and our family all went to Hershey Park for Father's day. Daddy was treated with a crab feast on Saturday....yum, it's such a treat to break apart steamed crabs.

Jonathan just can't get enough of his cousin Lorisa who he loves so much. I just love this picture!

This picture was taken last weekend when we got together with Jonathan and Adams group of friends for our 3rd annual picnic at Creekview park. (This picture only shows half the kids). We try to get together as often as possible, but annually, we get the entire family together so that the dad's get time to mingle as well. We had so much fun and the rain held off for us.

Gardening......

Text Color

.............................Here we are helping Grandma clean the lettuce we picked from her garden. Big...big buckets full of green leafy lettuce. And the boys love to eat it too. Jonathan had alittle bit of too much fun with the hose, and that is why he is wearing no pants in the photo. Adam just wanted to dive into the bucket full of water and lettuce. It was so much fun watching the kids help Grandma at her house.

I must admit that I just love to dress Jonathan and Adam alike or at least in the same colors. Here we are at church and I was so proud of them this past Sunday for being in the nursery by themselves for most of the hour. When I say by themselves, I mean without their mom or dad. Usually Jim or I have to be in there with them, but Jim served communion and I was determined to do my best to enjoy the sermon while the boys tried to have fun in the nursery and they did it. Jonathan actually said, I want to do it again with Adam so we'll see if this is the beginning of being able to drop them off for the hour.
